Diagnosis Pain
This article explains the relationship between the pain and the diagnosis of the disease on the basis of the pain.
Pain is feeling of our nervous system where the body gets discomfort. When we are hurt we feel pain. In any disease diagnosis pain is useful to identify the severity, the location and the cause of the disease. Pain is primarily of two type acute pain which is higher in intensity but shorter in time period and chronic pain intensity of which is generally low and it is an ongoing pain as in the case of back pain, neck pain, etc. Our body is designed in a way to recognize any discomfort through the pain receptors present in the body. Apart from these pain receptors our body reacts to injuries to our bones and nerves and a sensation of pain is felt by the body.
Human body is designed in a way that each part experiences a different type of pain. We should be aware of the regular pains like the back pain, headaches, etc. that we may experience and the pain which may be an alarm from the body regarding some chronic illness. If there is no pain in the body it may not be possible for a doctor to realize the extent of your medical problem. The first sign a body may show out of a disease is pain. It is an effective tool in the identification of the disease and the extremity of it. The locations of pain, intensity, occurrence pattern all determine the disease. Pain tells about the health of the person. If the person is experiencing pain in his body it is an indication of worsening body condition.
Pain management is the primary steps which doctors follow in general as the first step to help patients. Diagnosis pain cause is the second step which may include performing of certain tests like x ray, mri depending upon the various factors of pain. Treatment of the pain is followed after identifying the root cause of it. Chronic pain can be treated through medicines and following certain therapies like acupuncture which relaxes the nerves and subside the pain.
Chronic pain has its origin in the social life a patient lives, hence identifying a disease may be a little difficult but with diagnosis pain could be lessen. Pain has always been a diagnostic symptom for many diseases which doctors use to help to reach to the root of the problem. In certain disease pain is the only diagnostic symptom of the physical condition of the body. pain gives an idea of the malfunctioning of the human body.
Now a days pain has been coined as a disease which affects millions of people. Diagnosis pain in one’s body is very common. Stress, anxiety, may all lead to pain. Pain from an injury may still be finished from root but the pain which develops due to the feeling of being stranded due to injury cannot be eradicated through medications. As discussed above pain varies with the disease it may be different for a cancer patient than for a patient suffering from a fatal injury.
